This year’s Lecture is presented by Dr Chris Clifton (Chief Technology Officer and Divisional Director for Europe based Sony Semiconductor and Electronic Solutions, Sony). He will discuss how we can realise the great opportunities in communications available from 5G. A number of potential disruptive applications relating to consumer electronics and industrial/automotive applications will be considered, and some of the more promising options likely to be better suited to 5G product requirements discussed.
