This November Cambridge Network members will get the chance to hear from some Cambridge high-impact start-ups and ideaSpace. Stew McTavish, Director of ideaSpace, will be our key speaker, sharing his experience of launching and successfully running ideaSpace West at the Hauser Forum, an initiative that has expanded to ideaSpace City with an additional site planned for the Biomedical Campus later this year.
ideaSpace was founded to create the best possible environment for ideas and people coming out of the University of Cambridge to get started on new high impact ventures. But whilst being a part of the University is central to ideaSpace’s sense of purpose members can join the innovation community from anywhere; the criteria is that they need to be looking to start a new, high-impact company in Cambridge and have the potential to positively affect the lives of a million people within 3-5 years. ideaSpace is home to over 100 members who range from just graduated undergraduates to repeat entrepreneurs who have raised venture capital and taken companies public.
