About the event

Cyber security risk and data is increasingly at the heart of every business and organisation, whether it concerns customers, employees, shareholders or regulators. Cyber fraud is growing significantly year on year, with the cost to organisations now running into billions of pounds, and the risks faced by companies and directors personally rising correspondingly. Shareholders, customers, regulators and insurers are being increasingly proactive in examining how companies and directors manage this risk on their behalf.

The introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation in 2018 will also have a major impact, and companies need to be preparing for it now.

Effective data protection and cyber security requires robust and pre-emptive strategies. Following the recent cyber attacks on a global scale, join us to explore the dangers of cyber breaches, with real-life examples from industry and legal experts, and include useful steps to help you mitigate the risk.
