Programmes

CW delivers a range of programmes which run throughout the year

CW's programmes fall into six categories:

Innovation, International, Knowledge Exchange, Public Sector, Start-Up and Scale-Up Support, Sustainability

Below are examples of activities that CW delivers within these programmes. If you're interested in finding out more or developing something custom to your business requirements, contact hello@cambridgewireless.co.uk

UK5G

CW is the lead partner in UK5G, the national innovation network committed to the acceleration of 5G adoption in the UK. Funded by DCMS (but independent and impartial), UK5G is led by a senior advisory board of industry experts and works to stimulate discussion around the implementation challenges and commercial opportunities of this ground-breaking technology.

Innovation Hives

CW can deliver bespoke R&D programmes for multinationals looking to accelerate the digitisation of their businesses. We can leverage the innovative companies and contacts in our network to give your teams the ideas, knowledge and experience they need to transform your roadmap for a connected world.

CW Unplugged

CW Unplugged is an initiative designed to inspire young entrepreneurs, engineers and technology leaders to come forward and share their insights informally. CW Unplugged events are renowned for attracting passionate individuals from the tech scene – so they are well attended for the networking alone. Their content is centred around the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

IoTUK Boost

IoTUK Boost is funded by Government, through IoTUK and the Digital Catapult, underlining the importance of IoT for the UK’s digital economy. CW has partnered with the Smart Cambridge Programme, Everynet and Cambridge-based Iotic Labs, to support a minimum of 10 SMEs in their quest to find solutions to genuine challenges faced within the Cambridge region and to explore the market opportunity for the products and services they create.

CW Journal

Through 16 years of technology industry events, the CW network has become a go-to hub for industry news and insight. The CW Journal collates and publishes this knowledge, keeping its readers informed with high quality analyses of topical issus from acknowledged experts in their fields.

Diversity & Inclusion

CW recognises the need for greater diversity and inclusion in the technology sector so we are developing a collaborative programme to promote and champion this agenda as a critical business success factor.

Costa Coffee: Shop of the Future

What does the most technologically advanced coffee shop look like? In what ways could technology improve the product and service offering to customers, and how could digital solutions improve production efficiency? CW united Costa Coffee with forward-thinking entrepreneurs to brainstorm the art of the possible.
