Summary
We are looking for a technically exceptional, flexible and enthusiastic Applications Engineer to join our growing world class team. Initially this role is based in our UK office. Going forward, there is likely to be the opportunity for travel to support our increasing customer-base.
About the role:
Blu Wireless Technology develops cutting-edge wireless Gbps technology, based on the 802.11ad mmWave standard. With the initial core technology developed and demonstrated, we are now moving forward to take this through into production with our growing customer base.
We are looking for a capable and enthusiastic Applications Engineer to support our internal product development teams and external customers.
What will I be accountable for?
- Developing expertise in the use of our technology and development platforms. Sharing this expertise verbally and in written form.
- Supporting customers using our technology and development platforms. Support will include answering technical questions and reproduction of any issues reported.
- Developing an understanding of how our systems behave in local test networks, both in the UK office and deployed externally around the world.
- Taking part in hardware and software release testing campaigns. First-level debug and documentation of any issues found.
- Escalation and communication of customer issues to the product and development teams.
- Production and delivery of customer training and application notes to explain how to use our systems and any respond to issues found.
