About the event

Debunking myths on equity.

If an external investor is getting an attractive deal, and you get to scale your business and benefit from their expertise, equity finance is a win-win scenario.

But is this type of private investment right for your business? And even if it is, do you feel confident in the time-frames and what you need to do to be successful in this highly competitive process?

This intensive, fast-paced workshop will give you a whistle stop introduction to the essentials of raising equity and what it takes to be fully investment ready. It is an ideal pre-cursor to our intensive Investment Readiness programme should you wish to proceed with equity finance.

Here’s what you’ll learn

On this workshop, you will learn to:

  • Understand if you and your business are right for equity investment
  • Identify types of investors you should avoid, and those you want, and where to find them
  • Understand critical information investors need to see your business plan and financials
  • What goes into teasers, pitch decks and data rooms, and what doesn’t
  • Build your awareness of key items like the core components of a term sheet, timescales and judging the ask

This workshop is highly interactive, with plenty of opportunities for discussion and to practise your skills in a supportive and friendly environment.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for businesses who are looking for significant scale and are committed to building shareholder value.

As this workshop is fully funded based on eligibility criteria, attendees must meet our baseline criteria:
