As IoT technology becomes more widely adopted, many organisations are rushing out products and services without fully considering security implications, leaving them and their users vulnerable to cyber attacks.
The IoT Security Foundation are delivering a 2 day Foundations of IoT Security training course on 6th & 7th March 2018 at the MacDonald Windsor Hotel. Whether you're involved with an IoT start-up or are responsible for a roll out of IoT products and services, this course will help you introduce security best practice throughout your organisation.
What will I learn?
By the end of the course, attendees will:
- Be able to secure a connected IoT product from scratch
- Be able to discuss the main threats and attacks on IoT products and services
- Know how to research and assess IoT threats and risks as they arise
- Be able to implement a security reporting scheme in their organisation
- Be able to work effectively with security researchers on reported IoT security issues and concerns
- Have the knowledge to be able to develop a security patching strategy and product update life-cycle
