About the event

The Right to Repair is a growing global movement that campaigns for the right of individuals and small businesses to repair and modify their own electronic devices without being hindered by restrictive policies and anti-competitive practices of manufacturers.

It seeks to promote sustainability by extending the life of electronics, reducing e-waste and promoting consumer freedom and choice, by allowing people to choose how they want to maintain and repair things they own, rather than being forced to rely solely on manufacturers or authorised repair centres.

Join John Naughton, Marco Caballero and other experts for a discussion of why it’s important to take back control of things we own.

This event is part of the Cambridge Festival 2023.
