The Cambridge Wireless Technical Engineering Conference (CWTEC) 2024, held on 27 June at Cambridge Computer Labs, brought together more than 160 engineers, academics, researchers, and tech businesses. The popularity of the conference reflects the growing importance of harnessing AI within critical systems such as telecommunications, cybersecurity, healthcare, and banking.
Among the special guest speakers was Professor Amanda Prorok from the University of Cambridge, who talked about their pioneering work in the deployment of AI within multi-robot systems. Other guest speakers delved into how AI can enhance diagnostics, resilience, security, and efficiency across critical industries. We also explored upcoming technologies and trends shaping the future of AI, fostering discussions on new models, hybrid systems, and the importance of explainable AI.
