AESIN Conference

Brought to you by TechWorks

This year’s theme is ‘Collaboration in a Technology Rich Era’ with leaders from industrial and academic organisations discussing major trends in intelligent mobility and how collaboration is critical to enable the UK automotive electronics industry to make an impact in the global market.

About the event

Intelligent connectivity, autonomy and NetZero electrification is fuelling growth in electronics and software systems for mobility. The UK is well positioned to take advantage of these emerging opportunities in the global future mobility market. Our technical sessions will examine these emerging trends and how UK organisations can work together to take best advantage.

We will also look at the UK government's technology innovation and regulatory strategy for future automotive, transport and mobility.

Simulation Excellence for CAM Systems

UK industry leaders talk about the critical role of scenario-based testing approaches and the need for automated closed-loop toolchains to address test space explosion. How is the UK pioneering development of advanced sensor and noise models for high fidelity simulation environments to test CAMs.

Business Strategy and Security

Investing in cybersecurity presents a complex trade-off. We hear from the Discribe-funded collaborative project "Cost-benefit Simulator for Hardware-based Cybersecurity" led by Swansea University with Cambridge University and Strategize Inc as partners.  Topics will cover online digital twin simulators for ROI analysis for cybersecurity, gamifying the user interface, and implementing a probabilistic, chaotic systems approach for risk and ROI estimation.

Power Electronics and Control Systems

The UK has established itself as a frontrunner in the development of Compound Semiconductor Devices for Power Electronics as the drive towards net zero continues. Successes through project like ESCAPE and SCIENZ are testament to this.  The session will discuss where the UK goes next and the role of software and control systems as part of future collaboration, strategy and intervention.
