He has triggered new industry trends through his original work, filed several US granted patents, as well as having managed an IPR portfolio & negotiated IP agreements.

In addition to wide industry experience, Walter's formal qualifications include  BSc (Electronics), PhD and MBA (Cranfield) degrees. He is a Fellow of the IET, Fellow of the RSA and was awarded an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in recognition of his services to the telecoms industry.
