Who is listening to your mobile calls

In the good old days it was safe to use your mobile without fear of being intercepted or having your calls recorded. Not so today. Secure Mobile from Anvil protects you from being hacked no matter who calls you or who you call.

You may think that you are safe, but with the latest open source software and some inexpensive hardware, attackers can "spoof" a cell tower. Your phone then sees the rogue base station as providing the strongest signal and connects. Job done. If there is someone who would benefit from listening in, they now have the means as well as the motivation to steal your intellectual property, compromise your business, expose confidential/personal secrets or sell the information to the highest bidder.

"Man in the middle attacks" are also prevented by the system. Secure Mobile is an application that runs on Android and iPhone. Your calls are encrypted using AES and carried over a secure data channel. The Advanced version of the app provides encryption from your handset to the network with the second leg of the call from network to your destination phone open (unencrypted) and consequently you can call any mobile or land line in the world with your end of the call protected.

For incoming calls the last leg of the call to your handset is encrypted and, in effect, un-hackable. For complete end to end encryption of the call both caller and receiver need to have the secure mobile app. The standard version of the app works between two secure mobile handsets only and can be used in a closed user group with end to end encryption.
