Final Few Places Available for Cambridge IoT Technology Day
The Internet of Things covers many different sectors from Cloud Services to an end sensor node allowing the World to connect and network via a wide variety of different wireless or wired technologies. During the Technology days, we endeavor to cover as many subjects and technologies as possible through the below activities.
EXHIBITION & DEMONSTRATION AREA
Within the Exhibition area, participants can chat freely with our key manufacturer partners and get some firsthand experience with the latest interactive technology demonstrations that will include:
Network controlled lighting - Energy monitoring - Wireless motion tracking - Wi-Fi® to proprietary radio gateway - 3D tracking and gesture control - Cloud based communications - M2M connectivity and Managed services – Wireless strain gauge for remote applications – Long and short range Low Power RF Sub GHz gateway to intelligent sensors – Bluetooth® and Bluetooth Smart® - Bluetooth Smart mesh networking – IzoT™ Platform.
TECHNOLOGY BREAKOUT STREAMS
Participants will have access to six instructive technology streams throughout the day covering key IoT subjects. Topics covered include wireless and wired communications, cloud services, a hands-on IoT MCU solutions lab, smart sensor power management and sensors & AFE. Participants will have two opportunities to attend each session to ensure maximum benefit from their day.
KEY NOTE SPEAKERS
Sharing their views on the current challenges, solution and the future of IOT will be Nick Hunn, Founder and CTO of WiFore Consulting and Paul Williamson, Director of Low Power Wireless at CSR.
The technology days are being held in Oxford and Cambridge on:
- Tuesday 03 June – Culham Science Park, Oxford
- Thursday 05 June – Imperial War Museum, Duxford
