Axtrinet™ announces support for new multi-rate 1/2.5/5/10Gbps transceivers.

With the growing interest in non-terrestrial high-speed networks, equipment manufacturers are developing new technologies to offer 2.5Gbps, 5Gbps and 10Gbps speeds for FSOC and LEO satellite communications. To compliment the R+D and test activities of these companies, Axtrinet™ APG Ethernet Packet Generators now support 2.5Gbps and 5Gbps as well as their existing 1Gbps and 10Gbps speeds.

These new low power, multi-rate SFP+ transceivers allow equipment developers to test the throughput of their equipment at speeds matching the challenging conditions of LEO.
