Success for ip21’s client Borg and Overström’s SensorBeam® Technology wins ‘Best Dispense Innovation Award’
It’s always great to see when our client’s hard work and innovation receives the recognition it deserves. At the end of last year, the revolutionary SensorBeam® technology by Borg and Overström was awarded the ‘Best Dispense Innovation’ Award at the Global Water Drinks Congress hosted in Gleneagles, Scotland.
The SensorBeam® is a patented projection mapping technology which redefines hands-free water dispensing. The advanced mapping technology displays the dispense controls onto the floor surface, enabling users to effortlessly select dispensing options with their feet. The incorporation of SensorBeam® renders the dispensing unit completely touchless, eliminating physical buttons or pedals which could potentially harbour bacteria. It’s intelligent design not only highlights state-of-the-art smart technology, but it also looks great!
Reflecting on this accomplishment, Ed Clarke, ip21’s lead for Borg and Overström’s intellectual property advice, remarked “it’s always gratifying to see our clients’ innovations being validated by their industry”.
Many congratulations to the team at Borg and Overström for this amazing achievement. We can’t wait to see what comes next. If you want to find out more about the SensorBeam®, see here.
