- Promoting the new Innovate UK Health and Life Sciences competition and Design Foundations competition
- Explore the future strategic direction of innovation across the East of England under the Science and Innovation Audit framework

Innovate UK’s forthcoming Health and Life Sciences competition, which will open early February. You will have the opportunity to hear from Innovate UK Lead Technologists who will be providing background on the call, its scope and eligibility, as well as project idea pitching, consortia brokering activities and proposal clinics. Helping your business develop propositions for new products, services or changing your business model. Innovate UK has launched Design Foundations, a £3m programme to assist with early stage innovation. You will have the opportunity to hear about this opportunity and to meet potential collaborators to bid for grants of up to £70,000 per project.
For those, who are not that familiar with the whole of the Innovate UK family, there will be an opportunity to attend an introductory session. Colleagues from KTN will also introduce the new Innovate UK’s Design Foundations, a new cross-cutting funding opportunity. There will also be networking and speed-dating opportunities throughout the day.
